Romney To Make 1st Colorado Campaign Stop Since Caucuses

DENVER (AP) – Mitt Romney is making his first campaign appearance in Colorado since February’s caucuses.

Romney is holding at least one event in the metro Denver area on Wednesday. Campaign spokeswoman Sarah Pompei says at least one event will be open to the press, with details to be announced.

Romney last appeared in Colorado on Feb. 7, the night of the Republican presidential precinct caucuses. Romney won Colorado’s caucuses in 2008, but this year he lost Colorado to former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, who has since left the race.
