Denver Police Search For Suspects In Possible Hate Crime

DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police would like the public’s help locating suspects in a possible hate crime.

Sonny Jackson with Denver police said early Monday morning a man from Morocco was assaulted by two people at the Oasis Exotic Hookah Lounge located at 1523 Market Street because of his national origin.

“Detectives with the Denver Police Department Bias-Motivated Section are looking for information in regard to this incident,” Jackson said in a statement.

The victim is an employee of the Oasis Exotic Hookah Lounge. The manager said the incident happened inside the establishment. He said his employee was sucker-punched and knocked out.
