State Trooper Injured During High-Speed Chase On I-70

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A Colorado state trooper was injured during a high-speed chase on Interstate 70 Sunday morning.

The trooper had tried to pull over a speeding car and the car fled. Speeds reached 125 miles per hour along I-70 near Glenwood Springs. To end the chase the trooper lined up his patrol car with the other car and bumped it, forcing the suspect's car to spin.

The driver, identified as Igor Skorev, was arrested.

Both the trooper and Skorev were taken to the hospital and have been released.

Skorev was driving without a license. Police believe alcohol is a factor in the case.
