Comcast Employees Get Their Hands Dirty In Advance Of Earth Day
DENVER (CBS4) - Thousands of Comcast employees got their hands dirty Saturday in advance of Earth Day at locations across the metro area.
A couple of dozen employees were digging holes and planting trees on the campus of Denver Health Medical Center.
It's all part of the annual "Comcast Cares Day." Denver Health says all the help is much appreciated.
"It's a great opportunity for us to partner with such an organization like Comcast. It also helps us. They do more than we could ever do with our small landscaping team and grounds crew," Laurel Ris with Denver Health said.
Comcast employees volunteer their time in conjunction with Earth Day every year. They've been dedicating thousands of hours of service since 2001.
