Earth Day Free Trees

Earth Day is this weekend and that means the Denver Digs Trees Sale is coming this weekend. Volunteers spent the day unloading nearly 1,000 trees on Wednesday. They cost between $45 and $65 and six varieties will be available. Some that bear fruit. Denver residents can apply for free trees to be planted along public rights of way. The Denver Digs Tree Sale is Saturday morning and early afternoon at Sloan’s Lake Park and at the City Park greenhouse.
