5 Face Charges Of Trespassing At Colorado College

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) – Lakewood police have arrested five people affiliated with the group Soulforce after they allegedly trespassed onto Colorado Christian University’s campus.

Police spokesman Steve Davis says the five were arrested without incident Tuesday and face misdemeanor charges of trespassing.

Soulforce has been touring the country by bus to promote the message of equality for people, regardless of sexual orientation. Davis says Soulforce had alerted police ahead of time that its advocates intended to face arrest by going on the private university’s property uninvited.
