Tom Petty's Guitars Stolen In Advance Of Colorado Tour Stops
CULVER CITY, Calif. (CBS4) - Tom Petty will be without five of his guitars when he comes to Colorado for his latest tour.
Thieves ripped off five off his guitars from a studio in Culver City.
It's bad news for Petty and his Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers crew. Their tour visits the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield this Wednesday and Thursday.
Petty is is offering a $7,500 reward for the instruments' return -- no questions asked.
The stolen instruments include:
• Rickenbacker 360/12 – 1967 Blonde (Serial # GH 3747)
• Epiphone Sheridan – 1967 (Serial # to be updated ASAP)
• Gibson SG TV Junior – 1965 (Serial # 318533)
• Fender Broadcaster (Serial # to be updated)
• Dusenberg Mike Campbell Model (Serial # to be updated)
