More Than 100 Show Up For Bone Marrow Donation Event To Help Soldier
DENVER (CBS4) - More than 100 people signed up in hopes of saving the life of a stranger. They had their cheek swabbed on Saturday to become part of the National Bone Marrow Registry.
Many of the people were moved after seeing CBS4's story about a Colorado National Guardsman asking for help.
Staff Sgt. Mark Jenkins has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant, but he can't find a match.

Although the bone marrow drive wrapped up Saturday afternoon, anyone still interested can get their cheek swabbed at any Bonfils Blood Center.
