Aurora Police Release Photo Of Vehicle Involved In Fatal Shooting

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora police have released additional information on a March 23 homicide in hopes it will lead to tips on the suspects.

The shooting happened in the 1900 block of Dayton Street.

Police released a picture of the actual suspect vehicle. It is described as a 1990s Chevrolet/GMC Suburban or similar vehicle. It's two-tone colored with a dark top and bottom with lighter color sides.

Two people were in the suspect vehicle. The driver is described as a dark-skinned black man, approximately 18 to 25 years old. He was wearing a blue or gray short sleeve shirt or a gray tank top and white ball cap. The passenger is described as a heavy set black man in his 20s with facial hair, a goatee with no mustache. At the time of the shooting he was wearing a blue shirt and blue ball cap.

The victim is identified as 25 year-old Tamoi Elliott.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Tom Welton at (303) 739-6107. Remain anonymous and can call Crime Stoppers at (720)913-STOP (7867). Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000. Additionally, the Aurora Police Reward Fund is offering up to $5,000 for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the murder of Elliott.
