Surveillance Images Released In Jewelry Heist

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police have asking for help in identifying suspects in a burglary in which thousands of dollars worth of jewelry was stolen from a store in Parker.

Investigators were called to Apex Jewelers located in the 10000 block of Parker Road on Monday morning.

Police in Parker released images related to the burglary on Thursday. Detectives believe the dark colored SUV and the two white men pictured are connected to the burglary.

"During the initial investigation it was determined the suspect(s) forced entry into the adjacent vacant business and gained entry into the jewelry store through a common wall," police said in a statement.

Officers found several empty display boxes. The missing jewelry is estimated to be about $480,000 in merchandise.

"No customers' jobs were lost and no loss of life and we are going to be stronger and better in the future," Bill Rogers with Apex Jewelers said.
