FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – An internal investigation is under way after a Fort Collins police officer was caught on video shoving a man.
After the shove another officer is seen running over and arrests the man. The whole time the man was demanding to know why he was being arrested.
The incident happened early Sunday morning in Old Town Square. Police were called out after a bike taxi driver reported someone damaged his bikes.
Police are reviewing the incident to see if any disciplinary action is needed. They say the video shows only about one minute of a 20 minute encounter.
Three men were cited and released.
