DENVER (AP) – Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki is making two stops in Colorado on Sunday and Monday.

Shinseki will be in Snowmass on Sunday for the opening ceremonies of the National Veterans Winter Sports Clinic.

On Monday, he’ll meet with staff and patients at the Denver VA Medical Center.

The aging hospital will be replaced by a new facility in the Denver suburb of Aurora. The new hospital will cost $580.2 million and is expected to be completed by early 2015.
