Wildfire Burns Structure In Larimer County

LAPORTE, Colo. (CBS) – A wildfire broke out in Larimer County Saturday afternoon.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said the fire was burning two miles south of Rist Canyon Road and Davis Ranch Road.

Emergency notifications were sent out for residents to evacuate area. The evacuation order was lifted just after 6:30 p.m.

Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services, and Poudre Fire Authority responded to the fire.

One structure was destroyed.

The fire was estimated at about 1 1/2 acres and firefighters established a line around it.

One single engine air tanker was ordered to help fight the fire.

    it started over by apapps and lonestar and some guy was bbqing and a flame or something hit the ground and it lit up and it is bad my brother in law told me that it crossed county road 302 today and it is like right at the end of my dads drive waybut all we can do is prayand there is like 20 fires now and over 76,000 acres burned
