Child Recovering After Being Struck By Car

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- An 11-year-old boy is recovering after he was struck by a car Thursday morning.

It happened at the intersection of South Havana and East Alameda in Aurora. Police said the boy dashed across the intersection to get to his bus stop. That's when the car hit him.

The driver will not be cited because police said the boy crossed illegally.

The boy has broken bones but is expected to recover.
