The President

It's not every day you get asked by your boss if you're interested in interviewing  The President.

It's only the second time I've had the opportunity in my 18 years in the business and the first one didn't happen.

Needless to say, the recent experience is not one I will soon forget, if ever.

It matters not what your politics are.

For me, it was "moving" to stand on the South Lawn of the White House, to see the Washington Monument when I turned around, and to get a chance to walk through the White House and learn of its history.

I also got the opportunity to peek into the Oval Office.

I included a few pictures for you…one is of "Bo" the first dog, what our "set up" was like on the South Lawn and a photo of me with my hard working Photojournalist, Mark Neitro as we worked out of the CBS Bureau in Washington.

My day at the White House made me realize once again why I'm so passionate about this career I've chosen.
