DENVER (CBS4) – A former substitute teacher has pleaded guilty in connection with a bomb threat incident at an elementary school in Denver.
Jennifer Gomes, 42, is accused of leaving a note with a bomb threat inside the main entrance of Escuela de Guadalupe last October. She was sentenced to four years of mental health probation.
Gomes will also have to serve 180 days of in-home detention.
Investigators said Gomes left a note that said, “There is a bomb inside.”
