LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Larimer County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man for his alleged role in distribution of child pornography.
James Edward Griffin of Fort Collins was arrested Thursday for two counts of sexual exploitation of a child for possession and distribution of child pornography.
The investigation began in February when the Loveland Police Department notified the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office about a home in unincorporated Larimer County from which someone was possibly distributing child pornography.
Investigators received a second notification from Douglas County Sheriff’s Office about the same address.
Law enforcement analysis confirmed the files distributed did contain pornographic images of children.
A search warrant was executed which led to the arrest of Griffin, 23, on two counts of sexual exploitation of a child for the possession and distribution of child pornography.
Griffin was released on a $10,000 bond.
