AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- It’s going to be a busy and loud weekend at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora during a 24-hour training exercise.
Planes lined up in preparation for the exercise Friday morning. The 140th wing of the Colorado Air National Guard planned the Operation Readiness exercise.
The Air Force plans a major inspection in May and this weekend’s exercise will be the final dress rehearsal.
Planes could be taking off and landing between 6:45 a.m. Saturday through 1:45 a.m. Sunday.
