TRINIDAD, Colo. (AP) — The Trinidad City Council has suspended City Manager Ed Gil de Rubio for 30-days in a management dispute.

Council members said Tuesday they are concerned that the city manager has been making serious decisions without consulting city officials.

According to the Trinidad Chronicle-News, an attorney for Gil de Rubio said his client will challenge any attempt to fire him.
