Tebow Draws Huge Crowd At Church Service In Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (CBS4) – Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow drew a large crowd to a church service Saturday in Las Vegas.

About 4,000 people packed the Canyon Ridge Christian Church to hear Tebow. The church says it often invites people to speak who can inspire and excite members and attract others to the congregation.

Tebow talked about how his famous “Tebowing pose” all got started.

“I’d run to the corner of the end zone, I’d do my last final stretch, I’d pray and I’d get up and do like three or four jumps and I’d sprint down the sidelines, and then I’d have like one or two cuts,” Tebow said. “And that was like my final routine and it was like, ‘game on.’ ”

Parishioners say they’re glad to see an NFL player deliver such a positive message.

  • Brian

I love Tim Tebow but if you want to listen to the greatest inspirational speaker ever check out Clebe McClary sometime…now that’s a guy that can inspire!

  • John G

What a great guy. He and Lin the ;pro NBA basketball player
set a great example for all men.

So once again the “humble” one is putting himself in the spotlight to talk about how great he is? Has this guy ever said no to a camera? What a joke!

cuda1234 – why are you being such a hater? his fault they asked him to speak at this service? In fact what you are saying is quite incorrect. He’s been asked to be in Dancing with the Stars and in the Bachelor shows and he’s refused both. So if as you say he wants to be in the spotlight, having joined Dancing or the Bachelor would have been the way to go, right? That would have guaranteed him more of the Hollywood lifestyle and spotlight along with numerous magazine covers. However, he’s refused those and many other offers like that.
