Duplex Catches Fire In Wheat Ridge

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters put out a fire at a duplex in Wheat Ridge early Sunday morning.

The fire happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 9400 block of West 38th Avenue near Kipling.

West Metro Fire and Rescue said the fire burned one half of a duplex. Three people were taken to the hospital to be checked out for possible smoke inhalation.

Investigators are working to find out the cause of the fire.
