Mesa Deputies Investigate Death Of Stabbing Victim

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) -- Deputies are investigating the death of a 31-year-old Fruita man who had been stabbed.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Department says Abel Roper was found Thursday with his pickup.

Deputies are asking anyone who knows where Roper was on Wednesday night or Thursday morning to call investigators at 970-244-3252.
