Restaurant Employees Say Same Man Robbed Their Store Twice

DENVER (CBS4) - A man wanted for a string of armed robberies struck again Tuesday night. Police believe this time he returned to a restaurant he robbed just two weeks ago.

Police are still working to confirm it is the same suspect, but employees say they're sure it's the same man just in different clothing.

Earlier in February the suspect captured on surveillance video stormed inside a Subway restaurant with semi automatic gun and forced both a customer and an employee to the ground. In that case the suspect did not get away with any cash.

Tuesday night the owner says the same man struck again. Denver police were called to the scene and inside the closed restaurant detectives took down a report.

The suspect is described as a black male with a white hoodie with a bandana on his face. He was armed with a black handgun.

The suspect is linked to at least nine other metro area robberies and in almost every case he wears a gray hooded sweatshirt with the number "32."

Police say it's too early to tell if the same man robbed the store Tuesday night, but employees say it was him -- only this time wearing something different.

The same man is suspected of robbing a Cold Stone Creamery store and a Dairy Queen. Nobody has been hurt in any of the robberies.
