FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – A Fort Collins man has been arrested after his brother was stabbed at a parking lot in the River Glenn Apartments.

Bryce Evans, 25, is accused of allegedly stabbing his brother, Andrew Evans, 28, in the heart shortly after midnight on Thursday.

Police said when they arrived they found Bryce Evans in an apartment entryway, cradling his brother.

“Andrew Evans was bleeding profusely from two stab wounds in his chest,” Kristy Volesky with Fort Collins police said in a statement.

Andrew Evans was taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland and died on Saturday.

The arrest warrant documents have been sealed in the case, according to Fort Collins Police Services.

“The residents who found the brothers and called 911 said he appeared pale and motionless as he was taken to the ambulance,” Volesky said.

Police believe the stabbing happened in the southwest parking lot near Rocky Mountain High School.
