Jurors Begin Deliberating In Man's Dragging Death

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Jurors in Colorado Springs have started deliberating in the case of Detra Farries, who is charged in the death of a tow truck driver who was dragged by her vehicle.

Attorneys gave their closing arguments Thursday.

Prosecutors say that on Feb. 23, 2011, Farries drove off as Allen Lew Rose was preparing to tow her SUV, and he died after getting caught in a cable he had attached to her vehicle. Farries' attorneys have said Farries didn't realize Rose was being dragged.

Farries faces charges including vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a deadly accident.
