DENVER (AP) — Colorado’s governor is talking to newspaper publishers and top editors in an annual reception for the Colorado Press Association.
Gov. John Hickenlooper and Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia are slated to meet with the publishers Thursday afternoon at the governor’s mansion.
Last year, Hickenlooper used his first annual meeting with the press executives to say that he would not take a position on amending the state constitution. He said he didn’t want to “color the conversation” about Colorado’s conflicting constitutional provisions.
The Colorado Press Association is meeting this weekend in Denver.
