Assistant U.S. Attorney Dies While Snowshoeing
ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (CBS4) - An assistant U.S. attorney from Denver has died snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park.
On Saturday Bob Mydans, 64, was snowshoeing with a relative on the west side of the park when he collapsed. Rescue teams were unable to save him.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Mydans was "like a rock, and a true mainstay of the office and never hesitated to take on difficult work."
The cause of death is under investigation.
