Music Competition For DPS High School Students
First Lady of Denver Mary Louise Lee is hosting a music competition especially and only for Denver Public School high school students.
The event is a music competition is for soloist, rappers, bands and instrumentalist. Contestants are asked to submit a 5-minute music sample, the sample will then be judged by a selection committee who will select eight finalists.
The eight finalists will then go on to compete at a concert at the Bluebird Theatre. Prizes include a KBCO Studio C recording session and live interview on the radio station, private studio recording, Red Rocks concert tickets and more
