DURANGO, Colo. (AP) – The Colorado Avalanche Information Center has issued an avalanche warning for southern Colorado after some mountain passes got up to 18 inches of snow.
The warning issued Monday includes the northern and southern San Juan Mountains.
New snow amounts in the last 24 hours include 14 inches at Red Mountain Pass, and 16 to 18 inches at Molas and Coal Bank passes.
