Suspect Arrested In Machete Robbery
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Police say they have arrested a man suspected of holding a machete to the neck of a Colorado Springs pizza store employee during a robbery.
Colorado Springs police say 43-year-old Howard York was arrested at his home in Manitou Springs on Friday on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
No one was reported hurt in the Jan. 30 robbery. Authorities say cash was taken but they did not say how much.
Police say they received a tip from a resident about York's whereabouts after local media carried a surveillance photo of the suspect.
