CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4)- Three men accused in a murder-for-hire plot pleaded not guilty to the crimes in court Friday.

Police claim Christopher Wells, Matthew Plake and Micah Woody were all involved in the double murder in Douglas County in February 2011.

The estranged wife of Wells, Amara Wells, was murdered along with her brother-in-law Robert Rafferty.

Wells is accused of hiring the men and paying them $15,000 to carry out the murders. He was in custody for domestic violence charges at the time of the murders.
