State GOP Chair: Remaining Presidential Field Strong

AURORA, Colo. (AP) - Colorado Republican Party Chair Ryan Call says he believes any of the remaining GOP presidential candidates can pose a serious challenge to President Barack Obama.

Call wouldn't say whom he supported at his precinct caucus at an Aurora middle school Tuesday. But he predicted that the winner of Colorado's caucuses will be the eventual party nominee and will be in a strong position to defeat Obama.

Call said he'd heard of no serious problems at the more than 2,900 caucus meetings across the state. He also said party leaders were heartened by voter turnout despite the cold weather.
