DENVER (AP) — Marijuana activists are going to have to try again to see a ballot measure on recreational pot use.

The Colorado Secretary of State announced Friday that a legalization measure proposed for November ballots did not meet the required threshold because too many of the signatures were invalid.

The ballot measure would have asked whether adults over 21 should be able to possess small amounts of pot without a doctor’s recommendation.

Activists who proposed the measure have 15 days to collect an additional 3,000 valid signatures.

Marijuana legalization in Washington state appears headed toward ballots.

Jesus said to do unto others as we would have them to do unto us. None of us would want our child or grandchild thrown in jail with the sexual predators over marijuana. None of us would want to see an older family member’s home confiscated and sold by the police for growing a couple of marijuana plants for their aches and pains.
If the people who want to use marijuana could grow a few plants in their own back yards, it would be about as valuable as home-grown tomatoes; it would put the drug gangs out of business and get them out of our neighborhoods.

We,the people, can remove 60% of the cartels cash flow without spending tax dollars, killing people or throwing people in prison. We don’t need guns, helicopters or SWAT Teams,we can do it with a watercan and a hoe!

    Legalize and regulate cannabis.
