Jefferson County Man Gets 12 Years Scamming Investors
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A Jefferson County man will spend the next 12 years in prison for defrauding more than $1 million from his victims.
Israel Mursuli, 58, will also have to pay $886,000 in restitution.
Prosecutors say he asked people to invest in his businesses, but he illegally put the money in his personal account and spent some of it on his own living expenses.
Two of Mursuli's businesses were Mountain Computers, Inc. and the Mio Cafe, both in Evergreen.
