Air Force Academy Cadet Faces Hearing

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — An Air Force Academy cadet is facing a hearing to determine whether he will face a court martial on sexual misconduct charges.

The hearing Monday is the military equivalent of a civilian grand jury investigation. An Air Force officer will decide if there is enough evidence for a trial.

Cadet Kyle Cressy is one of three Air Force Academy cadets facing sexual assault charges stemming from separate incidents over the past 15 months,

Cressy faces two charges accusing him of sexual contact with a female cadet who was substantially incapacitated.
