Fort Collins Police Search For Peeping Suspect

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - The search is on for a peeping Tom police in Fort Collins say struck twice in the same morning.

Police believe the man was in a locker room on Colorado State University's campus and a girls' restroom in Poudre High School Friday morning. Police went to CBS4's Howard Nathan to get the suspect's picture out to the public.

CSU students told Nathan they were alerted about the possible peeping Tom through a letter posted at the rec center.

"It kind of scares me. I don't want to go into the locker rooms anymore," student Christy Lyle said.

The suspect was seen in the women's locker facilities at the Moby B Wing at CSU Friday morning just before 10 a.m.

"It definitely makes you think twice about your privacy," another student said.

Campus police said a woman saw the suspect. When he noticed he covered his face and ran away, leaving the building on the south side.

"I'm definitely not going to be walking by myself at night or anything," Lyle said.

About 30 minutes later the same man was believed to be discovered in a girls' bathroom at nearby Poudre High School.

"That's really creepy," Poudre High School student Seth Pearson said.

The suspect is described as a college-aged white man, 6 feet tall with a muscular build. He was wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt and dark pants. He was also wearing sunglasses with orange lenses and a gray frame.

An SUV was seen outside the high school that may have a connection to the suspect. It's possibly a 1995 to 2005 four-door GMC Jimmy or a Chevy S-10 Blazer.
