Broomfield Police Say Truck Driver Hit Teen In Crosswalk

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) - Broomfield police are looking for a truck driver who hit a teenager who was walking in a crosswalk and took off.

The crime happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Midway Boulevard and Lowell Avenue in Broomfield.

The victim, a 16-year-old girl, said it looked like a beverage delivery-style truck.

Broomfield police said they would like to talk to the driver or any witnesses in the area at the time of the accident.

Police told CBS4 the girl's injuries were not considered non-life threatening.
