DENVER (CBS4) – The National Western Stock Show ended with one of its strongest years in history.

The junior livestock raised a record amount during its auction. Nearly 100 animals were sold for $611,000. That’s about $20,000 more than the previous record.

Stock Show officials say more than 606,000 people attended over the 16 days. That’s in the Top 10 of years with the most attendance.
