Vigil Held For Victim Of Fatal Hit & Run In Westminster
WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - Friends and family gathered on Friday to remember a young woman who's life ended too soon after being hit by a suspected drunk driver.
Jenna Breen, 21, was killed last Saturday morning after an SUV slammed into her car at 118th and Sheridan in Westminster.
A group held a vigil for Breen at the scene of the accident.
Police say Breen was coming home from work from the Fox and Hound Tavern in when an alleged drunk driver ran a red light. Breen's friends planned a fundraiser at the tavern Sunday afternoon. All proceeds will go to Breen's family. It's a way they hope they can give back to a girl who game them so much.
"Always positive and bubbly. That's what I'll miss most," friend Brittany Leis said.
'She touched a lot of lives -- even people who didn't know her. People are coming together as a community, amazing to see," friend Valerie Enfield said.
The fundraiser was said to be a poker tournament.
