Moody Shares Some Winter Concerts Worth Checking Out

DENVER (CBS4) - The holiday shows have been unwrapped and packed away for another year, but the winter music scene in Colorado is just starting to heat up.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody shares a few ideas for the next few months below:

First off, there's a special event for which you might have to bundle up. AEG Live and Icelantic are throwing a Winter on the Rocks concert. Atmosphere and Common will perform on the Jan. 27 show at Red Rocks, which runs in conjunction with the big SIA Snow Show at the Colorado Convention Center. Tickets are $39.50 through Ticketmaster, but remember to bundle up!

Brad Paisley is performing on Jan. 21, but thank goodness the man is playing indoors at the Pepsi Center. It will be a little country rock to warm the soul.

Those shows are followed in early February by Widespread Panic for three nights at the Fillmore. Those shows -- Feb. 10, 11 and 12 -- should be entertaining.

Also, Lady Antebellum -- the country group which has won just about every prize ever made -- is at the Pepsi Center on Feb. 15. Darius Rucker is opening.

Other shows to consider:

- Megadeth, Feb. 28 at the Fillmore
- Kelly Clarkson at the 1st Bank Center on March 18
- Peter Frampton (still a great guitarist!) at the Paramount on March 27
