DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police have identified another suspect accused of using pepper spray to get away from store security guards while shoplifting.
Police have an arrest warrant for Richard Slate, 27, for the robberies of a Target and a Walmart early this month.
Slate is associated with a 2010 maroon or red Kia Sedan with Florida plate #Z7AJZ. He is still known to be within the Denver metro area, according to Denver police.
Employees at the Super Target in Sheridan were evacuated after shoplifters pepper sprayed two guards and a worker.
A woman was also arrested last week. Brittany Burton-Zamora, 28, was located by police detectives in Denver and turned over to police detectives in Sheridan.
Police are still searching for a second man.
