More People Are Moving To Colorado

DENVER (CBS4) - The Census Bureau says Colorado saw about 31,000 newcomers last year. That's the fifth highest rate in the nation for people moving into a state.

Colorado was the most popular state among 25- to 44-year-olds who moved.

A state demographer says Colorado already has a lot of people over 45, many who moved here in the 1970s. Now they are retiring and being replaced by younger workers.
