More People Are Moving To Colorado

DENVER (CBS4) – The Census Bureau says Colorado saw about 31,000 newcomers last year. That’s the fifth highest rate in the nation for people moving into a state.

Colorado was the most popular state among 25- to 44-year-olds who moved.

A state demographer says Colorado already has a lot of people over 45, many who moved here in the 1970s. Now they are retiring and being replaced by younger workers.

As you come into this beautiful state remember and follow some basic rules:
Don’t litter, pack out what you pack in, take only pictures and leave only footprints, yield right of way to hikers going uphill, and respect the outdoors. Drive the speed limits, slower traffic keep right, and slower traffic pull off.
