MONTROSE, Colo. (AP) – Gov. John Hickenlooper is inviting artists and what he calls “creative entrepreneurs” to Montorse to talk about developing “creative districts” in several Western Slope towns.

The governor says he wants to talk with leaders of the creative industries at a forum Saturday.

Hickenlooper is also touring West Star Aviation in Grand Junction and attending the annual conference of the Colorado Outfitters Association Saturday.

The governor will be back in Denver Monday to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday with Sen. Mark Udall, Rep. Diana DeGette and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock.
