DENVER (CBS4) — Would this be a match made in heaven?

The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is considering issuing an invitation to Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, and if he accepts, to partner him up with Tiger Woods, the Global Golf Post reports.

Woods announced Monday he will be playing in the event for the first time since 2002.

The pair could be ratings gold: the biggest sports names on the planet pair up, bringing with them a mixed bag of morals.

Tebow, a self-confessed virgin who says he is waiting for marriage to have sex, would be teaming up with Woods, a man whose marriage failed after cheating on his wife with numerous women.

The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am starts Feb. 9.

Even Jesus associated with tax collectors and prostitutes.

  2. bulldog90 says:

I hope Tim stays far away from Tiger. Although, knowing Tim he would be a great influence on him I would think. This has to be the dumbest invitation Tim ever receives. I hope he doesn’t get caught up in trying to please everyone including the liberal media.

  3. Chris K says:

Agree…with bulldog90…I think an invitation to this event will only lead to the liberal (no morals) media only to fomenting for more of this type of activity. The best thing for Tim Tebow is to stay away from these temptations.

  4. jcarob says:

Tim should run away from this ridiculous idea. Tiger is hopelessly lost and needs to find his own way, after repenting of course.

(jcarob) My, my….so judgemantal. Just like most all of the hippo(crit)- christians I’ve ever known.

  5. L Scott Larsen says:

Their going to be playing golf not whoring around. I think Tebow will be fine, if he doesn’t go to the after party.

  6. David says:

What happened to being salt and light?? As a brother in Christ to Tim I wish him all the best and pray for him daily as he will continue to be attacked. And yes, of course he should accept. (mike)…I’m sorry that’s what you have experienced!

  7. Darin G says:

I think Tiger could use a good role model.

  8. Tony says:

If Tebow can incorporate his message then I would guess he would except but Tebow would decline if its all about himself. He displays that daily. Tebow doesn’t need attention but he draws attention on who and how he is.Just my opinion like all others that comment. But you all know what we do have in common.

  9. Jim Bunion says:

    Tiger.. LOSING.

  10. Gina says:

I would imagine that Tebow would have better things to do than to hang out with Tiger and play golf. Although, he would probably do it for charity.

  11. EricInWisconsin says:

“So, Tiger, have you heard about Jesus?”

“So, Tim, have you heard about the blonde I nailed in the clubhouse?”

  12. Kris says:

Teblow would be lucky to spend some time with Tiger.

    1. Ralph Gizzip says:

I think you’ve got that backwards.

Most of what you point out is astonishingly appropriate and that makes me ponder why I hadn’t looked at this in this light previously. This piece really did turn the light on for me as far as this particular topic goes. However at this time there is actually just one point I am not really too cozy with so while I attempt to reconcile that with the actual main idea of your point, allow me see what the rest of the visitors have to say.Well done.
