Broncos Fans Create A Stir In Boston

BOSTON, Md. (CBS4)- Denver Broncos fans are descending on beantown in advance of Saturday's playoff game between the Broncos and the New England Patriots.

They're bringing the Orange and Blue to the land of the Red, White and Blue. CBS4's Dominic Garcia reports that some of the "Tebowing" Broncos fans are not being well received in Tom Brady town. Watch his report below.

Broncos fan and Colorado resident Snow White, her real name, said she's proud to wear her Broncos gear.

"The enemy, the enemy. That's what everybody is saying, the enemy," said White. "Beyond excited, beyond excited. I've wanted to go to Boston for a long time."

It's not just Denverites. Broncos fans from around the country are pouring into Boston.

"We drove through the night, just got here a couple of hours ago," said Pittsburgh resident Derrick Bergfeld. "We got tickets, we'll be at Gillette tomorrow night."

The Paul Revere statue in Boston is at the center of a wager based on Saturday's game. If the Broncos win, Paul puts on a Tebow jersey. That isn't sitting well with Patriots fans.

"I don't think it will last too long up there," said one fan.

"No good, no good. This is a Boston city, not a Denver city," said another.

Broncos fans are excited about the prospect.

"I'd like to see a Broncos jersey up there, or for that matter a Tebow jersey. But I'd prefer to see an Elway jersey," said Broncos fan Aaron Sandoval.
