Mother Who Killed Infant Son Not Guilty By Reason Of Insanity

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A Boulder judge has found a mother not guilty by reason of insanity in the death of her infant son.

A psychiatrist testified that Stephanie Rochester was suffering from major depression with psychotic symptoms when she killed her son 2 years ago.

Police say Rochester admitted to putting a plastic bag and blankets over the head of 6-month-old Rylan while he slept.

Rochester will be committed to the state mental hospital until she is determined not to be a danger.
