SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO DRIVE ON ICE AND SURVIVE.
First, get a grip! Your tires should have the appropriate amount of deep tread.
Also, make sure you can see. It sounds common-sensical but winshield wiper blades are the most under rated and overused piece of equipment on your car. Make sure they work!
Use your headlights so that you can see and be seen. It’s important to realize that even during the day other drivers may have a hard time seeing you.
Clean snow off your lights so the driving behind you doesn’t have their own “personal” little blizzard.
And give yourself a brake. Watch the traveling distance between you and the car in front of you, as well as the car behind you.
