Teen Killed During Pursuit Of 14-Year-Old Driver
GRANADA, Colo. (AP) - A Lamar teenager has died when a car being driven by a 14-year-old crashed during a police pursuit.
The Colorado State Patrol says the crash occurred late Monday when a Granada police officer tried to stop a car that was being driven recklessly. The patrol says the car crashed into two parked cars.
Authorities later learned that the car had been reported stolen.
The driver was treated for minor injuries and is facing charges. The driver and the 17-year-old victim were not identified.
