Denver Police Want Public's Help Locating Purse Snatcher

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police would like the public's help locating a suspect in several purse snatchings.

Raquel Lopez with Denver police said the crimes have occurred along the 1300 block of South Federal Boulevard and the 4200 block of West Florida Avenue.

So far there have been three incidents reported.

"One female was walking when the suspect approached her and snatched her purse. Moments later a second female was ordering food from an outside vendor when the suspect approached and snatched her purse," Lopez said in a statement. "In the third case a female was sitting in her vehicle in a parking lot when the suspect approached and opened the victim's door and took her purse."

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male driving a white four door vehicle with an unknown license plate.
